My Plan to Catch-up
There have been many things as of late that have kept me from performing some of my Guildmaster duties in a timely manner. In the near future I will be tending more toward administrative duties rather than the more directly member interactive duties. Some examples of whats on my Britannia Search & Rescue Guild agenda (sort of in order of highest to lowest priority):
- Catching up on sending out BS&R Membership acceptance e-mails.
- Setting up Mr. Christian, Shard Leader of Baja, to become more of a direct assistant to me.
- Catching up on Swearing-in new Members.
- Updating the BS&R Active Member list.
- Catching up on sending out the 3 Month Commendations.
- Catching up on Helping to define the BS&R Chapters as working, viable entities, and setting up Chapter Leaders to become more pro-active (read this as having squad leaders coordinate missions where the whole guild is invited).
- Submit the BS&R to numerous search engines.
- Trying to Learn Perl in One Week, as the book title suggests. (Yeah, good luck to pea-brained me.) This will help me to create better forms, our own message boards, and finally get some password protection on the Members AreaI hope.
- Completing the Tips, Tricks, and Tactics web page (including notes on storing gear, formations, travel, and other goodies thathopefullynewbies and old timers can equally enjoy).
- Helping Ultimax, the BS Trainer, work towards becoming the Undisputed Wrestling Champion of Ultima Online (oopsthats a personal agenda item. Tee!)
- Loading up on extra kilts, sashes, and capes (for uniforms given away at Swearing-in Ceremonies).
Mr. Christian, as Shard Leader of Baja, is authorized to assist me in swearing in new members, and will begin doing so shortly. This will help free me up to do some of the things listed on my agenda. Anyone else who can assist, please drop me a note. Im sure most of you have or can get dozens of kilts, sashes, and capes. If you have a key to the BS&R OC-Trinsic on Baja you can leave items in the crate on the table in my office (the third room, walk through the patio into the third room/office).
